Chittagong Film Centre has a rich film archive after the name of great Bangladeshi film maker Jahir Raihan. The Jahir Raihan Film Archive is internationally renowned for its pioneering efforts to preserve and showcase not only classic but current and innovative film It is dedicated to ensuring that the moving image history of our time is explored and enjoyed for generations to come.

A unique resource for media study, the Archive constitutes one of the largest collections of media materials in the Chittagong, Bangladesh. Its vaults hold more than 2,500 motion picture.   Titles on DVD available to universities and other non-commercial venues throughout the Chittagong as well as Bangladesh..
