Abdul Gafur Hali, composer of above 2000 folk songs on ‘Chittagongian' & Bangla language, which are now the essential part of the folk songs of Bangladesh.He composed above 1000 spiritual songs on Maizbhandar Sharif & Mohsen Awlia which are now the part of sufi culture of Bangladesh & India Subcontinent.He is the first writer of ‘Chittagongian' Folk Drama. He wrote above 20 Folk drama which are most popular. In this film there is an enlighten on the personal & professional life of this artiste . The Film focuses the creativity of the artiste , his songs , dramas & literature. The main arena of the creation of Abdul Gafur Hali is the Mystic and spiritual music of Maizbhandar Sharif & Mohsen Awlia, the two world known Sufi from Bangladesh . This film also focuses this part of his creative life. There are a few songs of Gafur hali in this movie.

OBITUARY

Celebrated actor Bulbul Ahmed died at around 11.30pm on Wednesday in Dhaka . He was 70. Bulbul Ahmed first became famous in the 1970s and 1980s by playing the leading roles in the films 'Suryakannya', 'Seemana Periye' and 'Mahanayak' . Ahmed later became a film icon by performing the lead role in 'Devdas' which was directed by Chashi Nazrul Islam. In his long astounding career, Ahmed won National Movie Awards four times. Apart from movies, he also appeared on television including in the serial 'Ei Shob Dinratri' which made him even more popular. He also took part in several advertisements. We deeply mourned.
